May 26, 2020This workshop will provide information on the normal developmental sequence of auditory skills and spoken language. How to use an auditory and spoken language development skills hierarchy/curriculum guide for goal setting. And will also provide resources (reference, therapy, diagnostic) available for free, downloadable, and for purchase to get started.
Patti Smith, Educational Audiologist
Patti began her career as a Clinical Audiologist in a hospital setting, where she was involved in diagnostic evaluation and auditory rehabilitation of both children and adults. She previously has served as a Pediatric Cochlear Implant Audiologist and Pediatric Auditory Rehabilitation Therapist. She operated her own private auditory rehabilitation practice for many years, where she specialized in working with children and families using auditory-verbal and auditory-oral therapy methods. She has taught graduate level and undergraduate level courses in Audiology, and spoken at a variety of professional conferences. She currently is working as an Educational Audiologist at CESA 2
