We invite parents to be actively involved in the ACP process for their child(ren) in a variety of ways. Current activities include:
- Academic grades and test results are available for parents to access
- Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled once each semester
- Xello login credentials to view their child(ren)’s progress
- Opportunities to discuss ACP progress with staff in person, via phone, via video phone, or via email
- Student portfolio presentations of their post graduation plans
Planned future activities include:
- Newsletter for fall, winter, and spring to share resources and improve communication
- Parent presentation regarding transition planning and ACP activities
- ACP conferences with all students in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 and their parents
