Haptics Communication Training July 31 & August 1, 2024 9-4 PM with 1 hour break for lunch. Madison Marriott West 1313 John Q Hammons Dr. Middleton, WI 53562 Haptics communication is a way to convey information via touch. Join: Maricar Marquez, Gallaudet Graduate, Independent Living Supervisor & Deafblind Advocate. Learn how to use haptic communication and be an effective communication partner with a person who is deafblind. Determine when haptic communication is appropriate. This training will be open to professionals and parents. Priority will be given to people who work with a WDBTAP student. 1.2 WISRID CEUs available.
