History of WSD Hall of Fame<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

WSD Sports Hall of Fame: A Legacy of Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

Richard Graikowski launched the WSD Sports Archives in 1988, following a request from George Grant, the founder of the WSDAA Sports Hall of Fame, to assist with research. Richard’s dedication and tireless efforts became the cornerstone of our success, ultimately playing a key role in the establishment of the WSD Sports Hall of Fame in 1992. His commitment continues to be a vital part of our program year after year.<\/p>\n

The Hall of Fame committee includes Vaughn Hallada, Coach Alexander Rubiano, and WSD Athletic Director Patricia Blackmer. In 1996, the first Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held, honoring four individuals and three teams.<\/p>\n

The WSD Sports Hall of Fame exists to recognize and celebrate the exceptional achievements of individual athletes, coaches, and community members who have made significant contributions to the WSD Athletic Program.<\/p>\n

All Hall of Fame plaques are proudly displayed in the Neesam hallway.<\/p>\n
