History of WSD Hall of Fame
Richard Graikowski started WSD Sports Archives in 1988 when the WSDAA Sports Hall of Fame founder, George Grant asked Richard to check out some sources for research purposes. Today Richard was the main reason why we were able to start the Sports Hall of Fame in 1992 and we count on his reliable obligations year after year. The committees include Vaughn Hallada, Coach Alexander Rubiano and WSD Athletic Director Patricia Blackmer. Four individuals and three teams were honored in the first Hall of Fame event in 1996. This is to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of individual athletes, coaches, and community members of the WSD Athletic Program. The Athletic Hall of Fame plaques are located in the Neesam hallway.
