At this age level we highly encourage independence, and the use of their own judgment to address everyday situations that arise. We believe this allows them to succeed and also to make mistakes in a safe environment, where the\u00a0Residential Advisors are still available to provide support and encouragement, as needed. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that students will utilize learned skills when they leave WSD and venture into the world.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"activities\" class=\"anchor\" name=\"activities\"><\/a>Activities\/Daily Schedule<\/h2>\n<p>At the High School level, WSD offers a wide variety of after school activities for our students. Such activities include but are not limited to sports, cheerleading, drama, Special Olympics, and work study.\u00a0All students are allowed the time to attend religious services if they wish to do so.
