    We are offering ASL stories and activities to all children and parents. The story will be signed by a Deaf individual and activities will follow. Snacks will be offered by Outreach/SLAD, and drinks will be sold in the clubhouse.

    This workshop is open to all who are interested in learning how to become a better ally for the Deaf Community. This workshop includes content on the differences between deafness vs. Deafhood, why we use application of “colonialism” in the understanding of our individual and collective experience/history, an expanded definition of Audism, and what the Five Dimensions of Deaf people are.

    All access to communication will be provided.

    Join in an honest and candid conversation about the power of parental expertise and its role in informing the work of professionals in their children’s lives. The time together will be part celebration, part visioning and part strategizing.

Meetings will be held from 3:30pm - 5:30pm

PST DHH Meetings are held on behalf of DPI to ensure professionals working
with deaf & hard of hearing students have timely access to specific state and federal

information that impacts their work with students with IEPs.

*In response to stakeholder input, we are offering the DHH PST meetings in a new format. All
professionals working with DHH students are invited to participate. Opportunities to provide feedback

on the meetings and the new platform will be provided at the close of each meeting.
