Students participate in pre- and post fitness assessments in which they measure and analyze their own levels of fitness based on the five components of physical fitness: muscular strength, endurance, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and body composition. The FITT Principle, five components of fitness, six-skill related components, FitnessGram assessments, and goal setting are integrated into the curriculum. Students will be expected to participate in classroom activities during each class period and must wear proper fitness attire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"zfr3Q\" dir=\"ltr\"><em><strong>P.E. 10 <\/strong><\/em><strong>Grade: <\/strong>10 <strong>Credit: <\/strong>0.5 <strong>Length: <\/strong> Semester<br \/>\n<strong>Required <\/strong><strong>C<\/strong><strong>ourse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Content: <\/strong>This course is a continuation of the freshman course with additional emphasis on team sports and body conditioning.
