WI Deafblind Technical Assistance Project

The Wisconsin Deafblind Technical Assistance Project (WDBTAP) is Wisconsin's federally funded grant program. Deaf and Hard of Hearing Outreach has been awarded this grant, and administers WDBTAP.

The goals of the project are to:

  • Enhance the capacity of Service Providers to accurately identify children who are deafblind.
  • Enhance capacity of Service Providers to support, instruct, and transition children who are deafblind.
  • Support families and/or caregivers of children who are deafblind.
  • Implement a system of state and regional supports and policy enhancements. 

Who can request services?

Service requests for the Wisconsin Deafblind Technical Assistance Project can be made by school district staff, parents, guardians, or other service providers.
