Transition Activities

Students graduate from high school and go in many different directions. Some choose to go directly into the workforce, some choose higher education, while others are able to have a mix of the two. In addition, some continue to live at home, while others choose to spread their wings of independence in an apartment or dormitory. Still others will live in an Adult Living Center. It is valuable to offer students who are deaf, hard of hearing or deafblind the opportunity to gather and meet each other, and to participate in transition related activities to learn more about the programs and accommodations available to assist students in making some of these very important life decisions.
