Partners in Listening focuses on developing listening and spoken language skills in young children who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind. Children achieve their greatest success when supported by a team of people who share a common goal and work together to achieve that goal.
For this reason, the mission of the Partners in Listening program is to empower families and professionals to feel confident in the collaboration and partnership role each plays in supporting children with hearing loss as they develop their ability to listen and talk. The program will offer opportunities for families and their educational teams to learn to effectively assist their child with hearing loss in developing listening and spoken language skills.
