Jen Gettelman

I graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Social Science. I continued my studies at Gallaudet University and received my Master of Arts in Deaf Education. I have been teaching Deaf and Deafblind students for the last 15 years. I have been fortunate to have had experiences in a variety of educational settings including residential, mainstream, self- contained and itinerant. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. My husband Steve is a math teacher and a principal. We have three very active children, Steven is 5, Aaron is 4 and Kennedy is 2.

Heidi Hollenberger

After graduating from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in 1995, she spent the next seven years teaching students with hearing loss in a variety of educational settings.

Heidi joined the WESP-DHH Outreach Program as the Deafblind Consultant in 2003. She obtained her vision licensure from Silver Lake College in 2006 and her Masters Degree in Special Education in 2014. Heidi is currently the Diagnostic/Education Consultant on the Outreach Team, a switch she made in 2019.

Heidi is married to Jeff and they have two daughters, Eve and Abby. Additionally, the family has two Labradors, a cat and two guinea pigs. Heidi and her family enjoy volunteering with a local Labrador rescue (LEARN) in their free time. They make their home in Sauk City, WI.
