Transitioning to College
Planning for the transition from high school to college is an exciting and sometimes confusing time. There are so many things to consider and make decisions on. The University of Wisconsin Whitewater Center for Students with Disabilities sponsors the annual Opening Horizons conference held May 3, 2019. This event targets students, parents, teachers and other interested individuals to explore the many aspects related to the post-secondary setting for students with disabilities. The conference will provide the participants with an opportunity to hear from a variety of presenters and gather information from on and off campus resources.

Target Audience
The target audience for this conference is current high school sophomores and juniors, their parents, teachers and other interested individuals. Other high school students are also welcome to attend.

Cost and Registration
There is no cost to attend the event, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! If you DID NOT receive an email with a link asking you to register, you may use this link to do so. Registration will be open until April 20th or all spots are filled. If you have any difficulties with the registration link, please contact Amy DiMola at dimolaa@uww.edu.
